On the 6th and 7th of July, two workshops took place as part of the project “Raise” which strives for raising awareness of hate speech crimes among the community and local institutions and is funded by Erasmus+.
The YEU General Assembly (GA) – Summer Edition took place on Saturday, 26th of June 2021. During the meeting, the Governing Board (GB), the Member Organizations (MOs) and YEU Administrative Office got together to reflect on the YEU’s activities in the first six months of 2021 and to elect the new Governing Board for the next two years.
Even during a global pandemic, YEU adapted its activities to continue its work. For that reason, the events had to move to the online space, always maintaining the quality that we are all used to. In the first three months of 2021, YEU organized six online events, with 260 participants.
The PET Academy intends to build and improve the capacities of junior trainers and facilitators of YEU PET to successfully develop, run, evaluate and report different residential and online learning activities.
YEU took part in the workshop that European Youth Forum organised with the European Commission (DG EAC) on their new proposal for a recommendation on education for environmental sustainability for learners of all ages and at all levels of education, which took place online on the 14th of June.
