A new global funding programme known as the Youth Climate Justice Fund has just been launched. The Youth Climate Justice Fund aims to support climate justice young leaders with trust-based funding, resources, and youth-to-youth capacity development, enabling them to amplify their voices and to keep their vision and influence alive.
Groups have one month to apply for the first initial cycle of funding until the 24th of September. For this round, grants will be offered for up to $10,000 USD, and there will be flexibility to support key youth movements. Youth organisations based in Europe can apply, provided that (1) if they are based in Western Europe, the organisation is led by young people who are discriminated against and/or marginalised based on class, ethnicity, background, etc. or (2) they are based in Eastern Europe.
