On the afternoon of 5 October 2026, two of our colleagues from the Administrative Office visited the European Youth Forum (YFJ) office, in Brussels, for a creative afternoon dedicated to the development of a new Membership Book for YFJ Member Organisations.
The creative laboratory provided an opportunity to exchange ideas, reflect on the achievements of the past year and collectively imagine the future. The Membership Book will offer Member Organisation a space to showcase their main achievements, activities and milestones, as well as outline its goals for the year ahead. Once completed, the book will be printed and kept at the YFJ office as a lasting archive and a concrete representation of the work carried out by its member organisations.
Throughout the afternoon, our YEU colleagues had the opportunity to learn more about YFJ’s vision for the Membership Book and contribute their own ideas to its development. Through a creative and hands-on process, they began shaping what the YEU section of the book could look like. The activity invited them to look back at YEU’s work and achievements in 2026, reflecting on the different areas in which the organisation has been active and the impact of its work. From there, attention shifts towards the future, creatively imagining what YEU’s 2027 could look like and the goals and ambitions that could shape the year ahead.
To conclude the workshop, everyone taking part had the opportunity to present and share their vision of what the Membership Book could look like. Participants discussed their ideas with the YFJ team, exploring the practical and technical adjustments needed to bring their creative concepts to life. The discussion also opened up a space to reflect on how YEU, together with the other Member Organisations, can contribute to shaping and developing the final Membership Book.
The project is just at the beginning but we will for sure keep you updated!
