The YEU Governing Board and the Administrative Office welcomed the member organisations of the YEU, in the YEU 2022 General Assembly – Winter Edition that took place in Brussels, between 2nd and 4th December.
This was the first face-to-face General Assembly since 2019, and it was a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends as well as meet some new faces now part of the YEU family. Unfortunately, during the period of the pandemic, YEU was able to organize events and meetings, only in online mode.
During this edition of the General Assembly, MO delegates had the opportunity to get to know each other better. This was useful in order to build a network for possible future collaborations, new partnerships and new projects. YEU encourages members to create internal collaborations and mutual support.
In this edition of the General Assembly, the YEU Family discussed and approved the YEU 2022 report, the YEU work plan for 2023, as well as the 2022 financial report and the budget for 2023.
The event provided an opportunity for the YEU Governing Board to listen directly to its members in order to understand the needs and challenges of the network, as well as their strengths and how to best create synergies within the network that will make it stronger and even more valuable in the areas of youth work and non-formal education in the future.
With the arrival of the new year, many projects are about to start and several new stories are coming. We hope that the ties created during this assembly will turn into interesting activities and projects for this year.
We thank all member organizations and their delegates for their participation and commitment during this event and look forward to meeting you again in 2023!
