CID is challenging you to join them online during COVID-19

Due to the current situation with COVID-19 that we are dealing with worldwide, which we don’t have any experience so far, we have tried this month to organise as many online activities as possible. In order for such activities to take place and be successful, we must express our gratitude to our staff, volunteers and all others involved in them. Here is some news of what we did in the previous months.

First of all due to the situation with COVID-19 we are working from home.  That’s why at least once a week we have a relaxed, online, coffee meeting with our office members and we discuss some daily topics.

Meanwhile during the week we also have an online coffee meeting with our volunteers where we often share ideas on how to spend our time in quarantine. Sharing is caring!

During Easter holidays, we also organized an online meeting with our CID alumni to celebrate it.

Instagram challenges which were successful:

  • “Let’s celebrate Easter together”

For Easter we organized an Instagram challenge for the most beautifully decorated Easter egg. In this challenge people could share photos and videos of the designed egg on their Instagram story.

  • “My CID experience challenge”

People were sharing their best experience with our organization

This competition is for all teenagers from 1st to 4th grade (high school) where they will be able to express themselves and share their opinion with this society.

Online book club

We have a group of volunteers of about 20 people who are members of this book club. Together we choose a book that we later read, discuss and share our opinions about it.

In the meantime, we are working hard on all our active projects depending on how much the condition allows us to. We are trying to implement and carry out all our activities online. In the upcoming period, we plan to start many other activities, including starting some research.
