The Global Education Week is an initiative promoted by the European Union and the Council of Europe to raise awareness of young people about the importance of global education to become critical global citizens.
During this week, “I’M GLOBALCITIZEN” will organize a 4-hour capacity-building e-workshop on intercultural understanding for young people between 15 and 18 years old. The workshop will be conducted in English and facilitated by a team of international educators from Brazil, Iraq, Afghanistan, Egypt, Malawi and Spain – truly global!
The workshop is organized in four sessions, covering different topics:
- BE – Our Identity and its Dimensions
- CONNECT – Cultures and its Connections
- ACT – Communities and their Discrimination
- LEARN – Reflecton
In this workshop the participants will have the opportunity to learn the skills to become socially connected and a respectful Global Citizen.
