Discover the WEMusic Digital Platform
Is music a passion of yours or does it somehow touch your life? If yes, then you might already be aware of our project: WEMusic – “Wide Music Education Network promoting international cooperation among youth for social inclusion, active citizenship and creating job opportunities”, which aims at fostering the cooperation between organisations and Partner Countries to the quality and recognition of youth work and non-formal learning activities, especially targeting young people with fewer opportunities, with a view to improve the level of competences while ensuring the active participation of young people in society.
After various activities and with a lot of meetings and efforts taking place in the background, we are happy to announce to you that the WEMusic Digital Platform has been created. The platform’s main aim is to be the main working space of the WEMusic Network consisting of youth organisations and young people interested in the provided learning contents and project tools. To become part of the platform, you only need to register, which will take less than 5 minutes of your time. After registering, you can start to discover the WEMusic Digital Platform as well as your potential!
In addition and within the scope of the WEMusic project, the project partners have also organised five transnational workshops called “music as a work field“, which welcomed young people and their questions. The workshops were led by experts in the music sector and we would like to show great gratitude to our experts and the partners, who took part in and organised the workshops. With the workshops, we managed to give all of the participants an opportunity to discover the professional skills commonly asked for in the field of music including performing and production. The participants gained new perspectives on how to create their CVs in the music sector and acquired a lot more competences thanks to non-formal education methods of WEMusic Project.
More importantly, the workshops allowed everyone to ask their questions, share their opinions, express their excitement and fears. Thus, the WEMusic project is a stage for young people and you are welcome to join us to create your own stage sector. There is no magical solution and there is no achievement without effort, however we believe that the WEMusic Digital Platform is the most possible magic touch in our project in terms of gathering all participants and experts with the outcomes of different activities and announcements of upcoming ones. So, there is no ‘missed event’ or ‘possibility to forget’. It is definitely a great opportunity for you because the platform is going to be your guidance and assistant during the project and your pathway in the sector. One of the best parts about the WEMusic Digital Platform is that you can easily find the previous workshops and watch them. More than that, you can share your ideas in the forum and read the blog. Register and let the music be with you!
In the meantime, we are soon starting the WEMusic project’s 2nd mobility, which will take place during five days in Tunisia in May. The second mobility will focus on strengthening the community of young people set up through the project, improving the knowledge of each experiences and aspiration, promoting common music projects to animate the WEMusic Platform. Moreover, the upcoming mobility in Tunisia will give us many opportunities to promote the project to other relevant public and private stakeholders and to raise awareness of young people’s participation in civil society.
Last but not least, we would like to thank all of you who organised, shared their experiences, asked their questions and answered the questions with heartwarming perspectives and who could participate in the online workshops.
