From 1 to 4 September 2026, YEU International took part in the kick-off meeting of the ARTvocacy4E(U) project in Tirana, Albania. Luigi attended the meeting on behalf of YEU, which was hosted by Center ACT for Society and coordinated by MasterPeace.
ARTvocacy4E(U) brings together European and Albanian civil society organisations to combine art, youth participation and advocacy. The project aims to strengthen civil society, amplify the voices of LGBTIQ+ young people and support more inclusive democratic participation in Albania.
During two working days, partners reviewed the project’s activities and timeline, confirmed roles and responsibilities, and discussed the budget, reporting requirements and implementation arrangements. The programme also covered the project’s identity, communication and dissemination strategy, management system and future cooperation among partners.
The meeting created a shared understanding of the project and its priorities, while giving partners the opportunity to build stronger working relationships. YEU will contribute its experience in youth work, advocacy and European networking, helping connect the project’s local results with wider European platforms and policy discussions.
