From the 16th to the 21st November, YEU had the pleasure of hosting the last Place Making for Inclusion (PM4I) Project international mobility, consisting of 4 days of Youth Exchange, which ended with the PM4I International Conference.
The Youth Exchange and Conference gathered project partners and participants, who had the chance to get to know each other better, by attending activities which emphasized intercultural dialogue and learning, such as the “World Café” activity. Both events gave participants the opportunity to share the most relevant activities and goals achieved over the project, as well as discovering placemaking tools and how they can be used within non-formal education to guarantee youth inclusion in local communities.
Furthermore, Placemaking and Youth Work experts gave participants precious inputs about placemaking policies and the role played by youth training in advocating them, during the Discussion Panel which closed the Conference.
The Discussion panel saw the participation of Ismael Páez Civico, on behalf of YFJ, and of other guests speakers who are also placemakers: Eva De Baerdemaeker, Ward Cannaerts, Ammalia Podlaszewska, Christina Tamang and Annabel Mempel as our Moderator.
Finally, we had the honor to give the floor to the Flemish Minister for Brussels, Media, Youth and Poverty Reduction: Benjamin Dalle.
We can’t thank enough all the speakers, partners and youths who took part in the event and made it an unforgettable experience!
