While our “Coffee With…” events are traditionally held online, we organised an exceptional in-person episode during the “Workshop sharing” activity of the 25th edition of the University of Youth and Development (UYD) in Mollina, Spain.
In this special session, we talked with Aleksandra Maldžiski, the Coordinator of the UYD! One of our participants in the PoEM – Palette of Emotions project, Mohamed Ali Ben Hassine (aka “Dali”), moderated the discussion between our guest and the audience of around 20 young people.
Over the course of an hour, our guest Aleksandra talked about her professional background, the importance of youth work in her life, and her current role at the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe, while the crowd asked questions and shared their own testimonies. Together, the group reflected on the theme of AI and human connection, the topic of this year’s iteration of the UYD.
It was truly lovely to chat with the UYD 2026 Coordinator, Aleksandra, whose impressive background and positive attitude inspired so many young people!
Thank you to Aleksandra, to our moderator Dali, and to everyone who joined us for a cup of coffee!
Stay tuned for the next sessions!
