The first year of the WEMusic – “Wide Music Education Network promoting international cooperation among youth for social inclusion, active citizenship and creating job opportunities” project is now behind us with various activities already carried out.
The WEMusic project’s second mobility was a five-day-long learning program, which was held in Hammamet, Tunisia between the 3rd and the 8th of May. It was held in order to promote non-formal learning activities involving young people. Hammamet is located in the south-eastern region of Cap Bon and is a gorgeous Mediterranean destination. It provided our participants with the opportunity to connect with each other and with the local and natural beauties of Hammamet.
The second mobility brought together young people from each partner country including Belgium, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Italy, Palestine, Tunisia and Türkiye to strengthen the community of young people set up through the project, improve the knowledge of each experiences and aspiration, to promote the common music project and animate the WEMUSIC digital platform. As part of the music sessions, our international participants co-created a song, which you can find on the WEMusic Digital Platform very soon!
In connection with the WEMusic project, YEU President Tamara Cvetković and Secretary General Selin Gürlemez also had the opportunity to visit our Member Organisation CCAB – Club Culturel Ali Belhouane Tunis at their offices in Tunisia.
It was a great opportunity to get along with the peers in a multicultural environment. The team of CCAB; Rym Grioui, Sami Essid and Lilia Khazri warmly welcomed the YEU team as well as all the participants of the WEMusic project. Once again, we would like to thank our member organisation CCAB for their hospitality.
We are excited to share these memories with you!
Be ready, we might knock on your door too!
