This month, we introduce our two Member Organisations of the Month in August: Solijugend – Solijugend – Solidaritätsjugend Deutschlands based in Germany and SIT – Center for Counseling, Social Services and Research, Kosovo.
Solijugend is based in Offenbach, South Germany. For more than 60 years, Solijugend has been actively involved in youth volunteering and youth work by offering young people an alternative to sports and engaging in the field of youth culture, youth education, youth politics and international youth work.
SIT Kosovo headquarters is in Prishtinë, Kosovo but has its presence in every region of the country. Since 2008, SIT involves people of different backgrounds regardless of their gender, sexual orientation and any other categories of identity. Its mission is to create an equal society for everyone, promote human rights and prevent Domestic Violence and Gender Based Violence.
